2 ash trees in need of pruning/pollarding

Reported in the Trees and Woodland Maintenance category anonymously at 10:10, Thursday 5 March 2020

Sent to Stevenage Borough Council 5 minutes later

Where our garden backs on to Narrow Box Lane. 2 ash trees in need of pruning/pollarding. 1 pollarded 1999 where growth now equals more than 50% of height. 1 ash tree that was not pollarded is growing at 45' angle and looks as though growth is threatening to make it unstable and it's seriously overlapping adjoining trees.

  • This matter has not been fixed. No work has been done yet. My report form was sent on 28 Feb and contained my name and address. A photo would not add any more info. The problem is at the rear of 35 Kings Walden Rise. I am not expecting any immediate action since I understand that tree pruning has to be planned. I feel that it is important that the work is done well. Surveyor is welcome to visit our garden to see the extent of the matter.

  • Ash trees next to oak b/o 35 inspected, deemed low risk at this point in time with no works currently required.
