Overflowing bins

Reported in the Street Cleansing category by LAURENCE CLARKE at 11:59, Thu 11 June 2015

Sent to Stevenage Borough Council 1 minute later

Animals such as birds(crows mainly) digging rubbish out of the bins and spreads in and around this area EVERYDAY!!! This needs to be fixed ASAP please. I don't want to be attacked by birds.

I am sure this is an issue worldwide but the bins here aren't suitable especially for animals. They are open tops and are dated.

Their needs to be new bins installed and less of them to prevent animals like rats, foxes and birds to access them. The problem is us humans but we aren't going anywhere any time soon unfortunately. I will take photos tomorrow to update. A street smart vehicle and staff were out a couple of weeks ago but installing new innovative bins to ridicule animals access them would be an advantage for the whole of Stevenage as this is an ongoing 7
