Several tags in doorway
Reported in the Graffiti category anonymously at 20:17, Sun 8 September 2019
Sent to Stevenage Borough Council 6 hours, 3 minutes later
Opposite the entrance to Boston House there is a doorway which has several tags in it. As this is adjacent to a high profile entrance to the town centre I think this graffiti, which is very prominent, should be removed.
I was going to report this but I note that it had already been reported several weeks ago. Despite this there is no update from Stevenage Borough Council, as is often the way with Fix My Street stuff. Anyway, I have uploaded some photos and hope that the Council will now take steps to deal with it.

the area concerned does not come under the remit of Stevenage Borough Council. The building in question is part of the private developers.

The Council have powers to force the owners of this building to remove the graffiti. I would have thought that as the Council are keen to keep the town centre clean and tidy they would take steps to ask the owners to remove it and if necessary use the powers available to them. Please can the Council respond to this update?
