Desparate need to a litter pick

Reported in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 16:31, Wednesday 21 August 2019

Sent to Stevenage Borough Council 4 minutes later

I was walking down NGR and it looks like the litter pickers have not been there in years - general rubbish in gutters and side of road verges. There is an old sign on a lamp column that has slid down and needs removal - please could a team go take a look and tidy it up please. Mainly saw next to elect sub station and old Express Dairies site.

  • Was there at the weekend and nothing done. have you got a date when this may be done? reported 3 weeks ago. Do you not have a rota to do all roads in the borough even if it is yearly - around the town there are gutters and edges of paths that have not been swept for years

  • Asked for a questionnaire update from FMS - answer is I don't know if it has now been looked at - it had not and have my doubts but will visit soon and advise

  • There is still a lot of rubbish there - old dumped sofa base, signage on lamp column remains and other plastic junk debris - looks untidy / uncared for. A quick visit to pick would sort please

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Sofa was still there but it seemed cleaner. Not sure if you will collect sofa / have collected sofa.
