Sent to Stevenage Borough Council 2 minutes later

After the poor standard of workmanship by the contractors re-surfacing the roundabouts on Great Ashby way, there is a lot of residue in gutters and around the roundabouts entries. It is sticking to car tyres and causing skidding. There is also a manhole cover that is now below the surface at Bray drive, needs uplifting. The drivers of some of the tippers were dumping rubbish from their vehicle cabs along the grass verges as they were waiting to do their part in the operation. Coffee cups littered the verges in all areas they were working. Red and white emergency tape is being found in gardens, under plantings and just randomly disposed of instead of being taken away by contractors. The irony is that There was a council sweeper on the road on Friday after the works and none of this mess has been cleared up. maybe a supervisor should be inspecting the quality (or not) of the finished work.
